I'm not sure if this is correct.

到着します basically means "to arrive".

In my opinion, the correct translation should sound more like this:

"The Narita Express will arrive at Tokio Station in approximately 90 minutes."

Hm, I didn't realize that the English sentence was the original one. Although honestly, I find that hard to believe. It's odd that someone would add an English sentence having so much to do with Japanese localities.

Isn't there a way to tell which sentence was the original one by using the logs? It would be good to know in case I stumble upon a similar problem later.

I'm also not sure which is more likely. That a native Japanese speaker will adopt the sentence and change it to the English one or that the other sentences will be changed accordingly to the new English translation.

And there is really no reason to justify. I'm not trying to call out anyone on their mistakes. Nobody's perfect. I'm just trying to clarify certain discrepancies. Plus I'm pretty new to Tatoeba. So sorry if I ask akward or obvious questions.

Ok, this just came to my mind a few hours after writing my last comment but here is another thing that could solve this matter.

If we could unlink the Japanese and the English sentence then the Japanese sentence would be free to receive new translations and the English sentence would still be able to keep its respective translations.

Don't know if this is even possible cause like i said - I'm the new guy - but there it is...

Very well, then I will be moving on and start trying to prioritize sentences actually owned by other users from now on.

Thanks for your help.
