
Shouldn't this rather be:
"How many of you will be there?"

No... the English sentence is the first one, so if the translations are wrong they should be changed. I think that you aren't recognising the use of the pleonastic "there" here. "How many of you will be there?" means something completely different from "How many of you will there be?" (the latter sentence, and the intended one, is the sort of thing one might be asked when booking a restaurant).
