@NNC; this doesn't sound like something a native speaker would say.

Maybe:
"Come eat with us." (The Romanian sentence is in the subjunctive mood rather than in the imperative, but I believe that in English, THIS would be the best way to express this.)

But in English, "Come eat with us," is also an imperative.
What about "You can/could come to eat with us"?

Maybe adding "can/could" could work as well. It's a good idea!
