Ĉu "shutter"? Mi dirus "shut".
Is it right to say "shutter"? I would say "shut" (but this is not my mother tongue)

The context is important here. If you just shut your window a strong storm can break the glass. But some people have shutters on their house. Shutters are wooden or metal planks afixed to the outside of the house that can be swung to cover the glass part of the window, so the storm doesn't do as much damage. Both the noun and the verb are the same, shutter.
