N'est-ce pas noir ?
Il manque une espace fine avant le ?

Je ne peux pas corriger la phrase à cause de l'enregistrement. Merci de faire le nécessaire, car je ne connais pas la démarche.

What I provided to you is a non-breakable fine space, which is the standard typographical space that should stand in front of double points (?!;:) and inside French quotes (« ») in French, that should appear as 3/5th of a standard spacing.
What you actually inserted as a second thought
was that standard spacing, which is fine, as long as the sentence does not extend over 2 different lines, in which case, the end double point or quote might slip to the next line, which is neither recommended nor esthetical.
Search engines usually don't make a difference between non-breakable fine spaces and standard spaces...It might depend on the the engine, though...

>To me the first look just like how we write English, and the second one looks like an extra space. Maybe it's just my browser and isn't what others see.
It's pity. I think it's a character-set-based-trick, possibly depending on language of your browser, that Trang used to make me happy as well as anti-non-breakable spaces advocates from English-speaking Canada.
If in doubt, open any French edition of any French book, and you will see how non-breakable spaces should appear : as around 3/5th of the length of a normal letter (as it was in other languages as well, English and German included, before the advent of typewriters and the first computers...)
The fact that it doesn't look so in French, under all circumstances on Tatoeba, is a liability.

la ponctuation est corrigée, merci
