To my non-native ear this sounds a bit weird. Are you sure "these" is correct? I want to say "This is my favourite pair of of shoes" or "These are my favourite shoes".

It's a commonly-used phrase.

This is my favorite pair

(Note that Google may not give the same results to everyone.)
I added the "This is ..." version here.

Thanks CK. I also googled before asking, but I don't trust small numbers like these because there are a lot of non-native speakers writing in English (like myself) contributing to statistics. But since you're a native speaker and the phrase sounds fine to you, it's fine, of course.
Do sentences "These are my favorite pair of shoes" and "This is my favorite pair of shoes" mean the same though, so I can link them to the same Ukrainian sentence?
