I don't know exactly, but could this be read like "He became crazy about you." and not "He's crazy about you." (他被你很迷住 ?)

A native Mandarin speaker would probably explain this better, but 了 (at least to me) here signifies entering a state, i.e. he wasn't crazy about you to begin with, but at some point he became so, and now is in the state of being so (the 了, to me, is like a Boolean activity switch that signifies that this state of being crazy is now active).

Your question is also pertinent, though. I think that this could be read as a past action, but would probably need a second sentence to complement it. E.g. 他原来被你迷住了,但是过了几天碰到了一个更漂亮的姑娘。 (correction/supplement from native speakers more than welcome)
