Il me semble que la phrase chinoise dit

"Les sujets qui craignaient le courroux du roi, se comportaient souvent de manière très servile"

(Mais il y avait d'autre sujets qui ne le craignaient pas)

La phrase française dit "Parce qu'ils craignaient le roi, tous les sujets ..." (donc ici "tout" le monde obéit au roi, et "craignaient" est la raison pour laquelle ils obéissent)

mais évidemment je peux me tromper :)

Tu as raison, je n'ai pas fait attention à la virgule avant "craignant" :)
