Les traductions anglais - francais sont contradictoires.
The french - english translations are opposites.

A proprement lire, de mon point de vue "It was not until {NOM}" nie le nom qui suit.

It was not until then = ce n'est pas jusqu'à ce moment/moment-là que...
It was not until yesterday = ce n'est pas jusqu'à hier que...
Cette partie de la phrase exprime une continuité, "until". Elle n'est pas ponctuelle du moment x ou un jour x.

Il me semble que "ce n'est pas jusqu'à" n'est pas correcte en français.

Pour la traduction de "not until then" en français, voir:
