La frase me suena un poco rara pero quizás se debe al enfoque que le doy.
Si estoy en lo cierto, creo que la frase que sigue suena más natural:

Me ha costado sacar dos alternativas que incluyan toda la información.

"Tom tarda en llegar a su oficina treinta minutos o menos."
En esta frase se perdia la informacion de que hacia el camino andando.

La frase en ingles tiene dos matices que confunden un pelin.

El can walk... puede dar a entender dos cosas.

Tom tiene un andar muy rapido y es capaz de recorrer el camino en 30 minutos.

El otro matiz.

Tom tiene mucha suerte y el camino al trabajo es corto y le permite hacer el recorrido sin perder mucho tiempo.
