Les 2, en fait. Je traduis toujours un preterit anglais à la fois en pasé simple et composé, selon qu'on suppose que la phrase fait partie d'une narration ou pas...
M'ouais, mais vu qu'elle est lié à la traduction en portugais ou en espagnol "chegou" et "llegó", je priviligerai "est arrivé"
mais c'est l'inverse : alexmarcelo, qui est natif lusitophone, a traduit mon passé simple français ainsi...
