Is it a Present tence? The Esperanto sentence is in the Past tence.

this sentence is in the present tense

So it should be changed to Past or unlinked from Esperanto.

Is it possible to use "stanotte" with the Past tence?

personally i'd use it in situations like "stanotte non avevo intenzione di uscire, però sono stato obbligato a farlo", or like "stanotte c'era gente in birreria?" (even if the second sentence would be more common with "stasera" instead of "stanotte", even though "stanotte" can still be used)

I think there is an issue how one should understand "stanotte".

There is an Esperanto sentence with a few translations. As I know, Esperanto always uses tences "as is", so it should mean, that night has already finished. My Russian translation of this Italian sentence means night's contunuing just now. In Russian it's ambiguous, it can mean "the night, which has just passed" or "the night, which are coming soon" or "the night, which is continueing now".

What about Italian?

OK, I've changed also the Russian sentence.
