ici, petites designe une "petite baguette" (le pain long et fin tel qu'on l'imagine lorsque l'on parle du pain français) , grosse une "grosse baguette"
Et la ficelle désigne ici aussi une sorte de pain, beaucoup plus fine que la baguette (d'où son nom)
