The definition of "to check" that is used in the English here is "to stop or arrest the motion of suddenly or forcibly." I'm not sure that the Turkish "kontrol etmek" has the same meaning. Am I wrong or should a different verb be used?

You are right. It was changed as "stop". Thank you.
