CK, thanks for pointing that.

because actually both are translated the same way or at least I personally don't see two words that would correctly transcribe the meaning of this sentence.

Could somebody explain the difference between the words "midget" and "dwarf"? Is "dwarf" considered to be more polite?

CK, sysko : OK, I suggest one possible translation, but it depends heavily on the context.
Is there an appropriate tag for difficult translation, or "cultural context" ?

the translation in French seems good for me, actually it's hard to define what is hard to translate, because here for example (I will ask before to a friend to be sure it's correct) in Chinese it seems to me they also have two common words, one for "politically correct" and one more offensive, so here the difficulty of translation rather come from the couple french-english rather than an inner property of that sentence (though I admit they're some sentences which are by themselves hard to translate, for this there is the "translation challenge" something like this tag)
