I think that for a passé composé, following are appropriate:
今日、私は鼻血が出た。
今日、私は鼻血を出した。

Non. が出た or を出した

今日、私は鼻血が出てた。
I think this is also okay, but it implies you didn't notice you've had a bloody nose until maybe someone told you about that or you look at yourself in the mirror. ;)
