Need native check please

To match the French, it should be 聞いたところ.
This sentence means:
I'm about to listen to the music.

You're right thanks !
Can the てしまう form fit in my sentence ?

The subsidiary verb しまう is mainly used in the following forms.
involuntary action
especially one with bad consequence
imperative which tells someone to finish something
Using しまう meaning to finish in a declarative sentence is possible but not so common, I think.
I would say:
*These sound better than 聞いたところ, sorry.

Interesting! I hear a lot the しまう/ちゃう form but it's still a bit difficult for me ^^
Thanks!
