My Greek is very elementary, but I think this sentence means "Also the Greeks (besides other nationalities) often eat fish." whereas the English sentence, with "too" at the end, means "The Greek often eat also fish (besides other foods).

You're correct, and that was what I intended it to mean. I guess it was fairly ambiguous in the English version. However, in the Japanese sentence, も (also) is placed after ギリシャ人 (Greeks) and has the same meaning as my Greek translation. Do you still think I should change it to "Οι Έλληνες τρώνε συχνά και ψάρι"?

Don't change it yet. But if the English sentence is ambiguous, then you're entitled to give more than one translation. So go ahead and add the second one.
