"We're thankful for you" is something that parents might tell a child. It does not mean "We're grateful to you" (= "We appreciate what you've done for us"). It means "We appreciate that you exist." My guess is that this sentence should be unlinked from the sentences it's linked to, and "We're thankful to you" should be added as a new translation.
