Si, "curro" significa "trabajo" y en España se oye mucho. De todas maneras es bastante coloquial. Yo añadiría otra frase más que dice "Trabajo de noche.".

Ya ves... corre la misma suerte que la palabra "coger", típico ejemplo cómo un español puede meter la pata en Argentina.
