Hola, Marcelo. Una duda, ¿acaso la reja no es lo que se pone en las ventanas?

Por el uso que le damos, yo asumo que "reja" se refiere a las barras verticales(?) que usamos para encerrar una propiedad.

También se dice "la reja/las barras de una celda"

Creo que el término correcto es "verja". Yo no puedo usarlo porque esa palabra cayó en desuso en Chile.
El término común acá es "reja" y es posible que su uso sea incorrecto o irónico.

Está bien, aunque "verga" me suena a otra cosa por estar acostumbrado al español mexicano :-)
