Sí, puede ser. Depende del sentido de "any more", yo lo he entendido como que nunca más.

no, la traducción de "Ya no volverán a tener azúcar." sería
"They WON'T have any sugar any more."

Me parece que pueden haber varias traducciones correctas. En la frase original en inglés, uso el futuro por la manera en que entendí la frase, de todos modos, se está traduciendo del inglés y no al inglés.
