Ĉu trinkmono, kvankam la angla frazo silentas pri ĝi? ... kaj ke la taksiisto povus miskompreni la vorton kiel "drinkmonon"...
kaj kion mi faru, se la taksiisto eĉ ne parolas Esperanton? ...

Kiel multaj aliaj anglaj vortoj ankaŭ "tip" havas multajn signifojn (verŝajne por ke la lernantoj lernante havu multe da ĝojo). Nu, tamen lige kun taksiisto kaj moneroj mi malfacile povas imagi, ke ĉi tie ne temas pri tiu "tip" kiu estas trinkmono. Denaskuloj, kie vi estas? :)

Inform the driver to "keep the change." Or wait if you're expecting money back, and then tip from your change.
