La nomo "Braŭno" ne estas objekto de "konas", sed priskribo de "sinjoron".
Plej facile kompreneblas tio, se ni interpretas la frazon tiel:

Ĉu vi konas (la/tiun) sinjoron, kies nomo estas Braŭno?

PMEG rimarkas pri tio:
"Post o-vorto povas aperi rekta priskribo, kiu identigas la aferon.
Normale temas pri la propra nomo de la afero.
Tia identiga priskribo ne havu n-finaĵon [...]"
