
I'm not sure if this is an accurate translation to the Spanish sentence. Are we talking about one or more make-up artists?

Thanks for your question.
It looks like the English sentence isn't properly worded. What I meant was that their job/task consists in "putting make-up on artists/actors". I've decided to change the sentence a little bit to sound "more natural".

Oh, and the Spanish sentence is a good translation of this sentence.

I think "to do make-up for performing artists." sounds a bit better.
Otherwise the reader trips on "to do performing"
