I would remove the commas. But OK.

孔子曰:「不飲茶者,愚也。」 ?

> This is likely just one of those made-up Confucius sayings.
I know. Look at the tag.
I just thought it might be nice if someone could check my classical Chinese translation. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to add it to the corpus, though.

> 孔子曰:「不飲茶者,愚也。」 ?
Looks good to me. My classical Chinese is very bad, but the sentence is so simple that there is hardly anything wrong with it.
The fact that your sentence is correct can also be proved by the fact it's similar to a phrase from Hanfeizi which also features «X者、愚也» pattern:
無參驗而必之者、愚也,弗能必而據之者、誣也。
'They, who do not check something and believe it, are fools. They, who cannot believe in something and base [their arguments] on it, are slanderers.'

So I believe it can be safely added as a translation.

> perhaps Demetrius copied it from another website
Original Russian sentence was a joke found in the Russian Internet (e.g. here: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8GvJj...ivators_10.jpg ):
«Кто цяй не пьёт, тот цьмо».
corvard has edited the sentence, making it less funny as a joke, but better as an example sentence. As a result, the sentence is now found in Tatoeba only.

Actually, I have a dream of compiling all those fake Confucius quotes found all over the Internet, and to compile 'Modern Analects' created out of mistranslated and misattributed quotations. It could be a fun way to see how Confucius is percieved in modern Western culture.

> The final period is on the wrong side of the quote mark.
Fixed it, thanks.
