אווירון is old-fashioned; normal word is מטוס

נכון, אבל מתחשק לי להשתמש במילה אווירון.

I see. However, if the goal of Tatoeba is to help people with their language learning, why would one deliberately use old-fashioned or uncommon words in an ordinary sentence (without labeling them as such)?

1. I am not sure what the goal of Tatoeba is
2. If you don't like the sentence, phrase or verse, you are most welcome to add your version
3. The word אווירון is not obsolete, and is a very natural word in everyday Hebrew. Some combinations, such as אווירון קרב, are frowned upon, but that is not the case here
4. If you look further, the variant "מטוס" is to be found in an adjacent verse
5. This sentence does not require tagging. The fact that variants exist does not deserve a tag.
