недоперепила

Sorry. I was not sure. Can you explain me, why do some write it apart and other as one word? And have you an Idea how to translate this word into English (or another language of your choice) ?

[other > others]

In this particular case we have 2 prefixes: недо+пере+пила. So, we write all as a whole word. Please notice, we are dealing with "недо" prefix, not "не" here.

Hm, thank you, I did indeed suppose there where 3 prefixes (не+до+пере+пила) but now I know I was wrong.

As for the meaning of "недоперепил", this could be tricky since you'll never find it in any official dictionary. :-) This is kinda synthetic humorous word. But if we analyse prefixes, we can conclude that "Я недоперепила." could mean, literally, something like "I was about to get overdrunk." or "I've drunk a lot but a bit less than to get overdrunk." Though, there's nothing funny in those translations.
