
I suggest unlinking this sentence from the Japanese. It's not a correct (or just very unclear? @natives) translation.
The Japanese sentence says the house is in the North of the city - but still part of the city. This has been rendered correctly at least to German.
This English sentence has been translated to German in a way that implies that the house is north of the city (not part of the city anymore).
