
It seems to me you need the article "a" before "small chance", like in your other sentence - more "over there"

I'll let a native speaker check that. I believe this form is also acceptable.

Different nuances:
We have a small chance of winning = There's a possibility we'll win, let's go for it! :)
We have small chance of winning = I'm very negative and doubt very much that we'll win. :(
