Here's something that sounds a bit more natural to my ear, if it fits with the Japanese: "I believe that it's right to tell the truth."

... or, "I believe that telling the truth is right / the right thing to do."

This sentewnce is obviously wrong now. At least it should have a modal verb: "it's right".
