Something tells me you want "way of telling" but then there is an odd feeling that the sentence looks incomplete - a native speaker would certainly know better

OK raggione,any suggestions?
The Hebrew source says, literally: I do not have any way to KNOW.
My English version appears in Google, as is, over 8 million times.

Read my comment as a spontaneous feeling expressed by a non-native speaker, MrShoval. I have consulted my clever book now, and it tells me there is no basic difference between the infinitive structure and the -ing one. Should have done this before, I know. Personally I would perhaps have suggested "I have no way of knowing anything about it" but then I am not familiar with the Hebrew, and what can you say against 8 million? - So we can leave it as it is, I suppose. At least it was A WAY OF GETTING in touch. And that's not a bad thing. Have a nice day. John (raggione)
