je ne sais pas si tu parles le japonais ou le comprends, mais en général on évite de changer une phrase lorsqu'elle est déjà traduite dans une autre langue sans avoir vérifié qu'elle corresponde à la traduction, et qui plus est si la phrase est juste. :)

dans le cas où ça arrive (parce que ça se fait) essaie de mettre un commentaire sur la raison invoquée pour le changement ^^

je peut comprends le japonais et je peut parler aussi un petit peut mais je ne sais pas parler francais tres bien.
Le raison pour le commentaire etait une faut dans la phrase anglaise... je pense que c'est une faut (don't/doesn't).

indeed, it seems that the initial English translation 'The dentist is against your eating sweets.' is closer to the Japanese sentence than the current translation. I am not fluent enough in English to judge whether the current translation is more natural. In German, keeping close to the original translation as well would sound a bit awkward ('Der Zahnarzt ist dagegen, dass Du Süßigkeiten/süße Sachen isst.').

@u2fs oh, ok, I didn't realize that and my French isn't that good. :)
It probably would be best if the original English translation would be restored and translations to other languages changed to be closer to the original sentence as well.

@U2FS : d'accord, d'accord je me "dépossède" de la phrase pour que vous puissiez la changer, mais perso, si j'ai déjà lu des expressions du type "your verbe+ing", le contexte original me semblait différent des autres phrases que j'ai pu lire. De plus, je serais encore plus surpris que la phrase originale soit dans le registre courant, ce qui me semblait pourtant être le contexte de la phrase.

Vous êtes majoritaires à demander le changement de la phrase actuelle pour sa forme originale, mais je pense qu'il serait bien de demander l'avis d'un "native speaker" pour en avoir le cœur net.
