Have you made sure that the translation you are citing from is free to use without any copyright infringements?

The Danish original should be in the public domain by now, but that is not true of all its translations into other languages of course.

I didn't think of that. But I searched on Google books and I found this translation in a book published in 1867. It's called "Hans Andersen's fairy tales, a new translation by Mrs. Paull with a special adaptation and arrangement for young people"
