Nicht erst seit gestern sagt man "ich habe nichts, was ich ihm vorlegen / vorsetzen kann / könnte" anstelle von "ich habe nicht, was ich ihm vorlege".

Ich beginne am Sinn solcher Zitate zu zweifeln, denn sie enthalten Textstellen, die heute als schlechtes Deutsch gelten. Als Zeugnisse eines früheren Sprachstandes können sie ein Sprachmuseum bereichern, im Rahmen von Tatoeba aber Verwirrung stiften.

Die neuere Fassung von 1984 fällt leider unter das Urheberrecht, und es könnte ebenso zu Verwirrung führen, wenn ich hier eine eigene Fassung präsentiere, die aber für eine offizielle gehalten wird.
