Could we have an OK from a native speaker please (if at all possible)

This sentence is on a number of sites on google including http://www.omnilexica.com/?q=geography and http://dict.longdo.com/search/geography.
It is anotated as "Tanaka JP-EN corpus" on the longdo.com site.
The sentence is fine, in my opinion. It's quite OK to say "In studying something, you must..."
"When studying geography..." would also be OK and, in my view, slightly better than "In studying.." but that doesn't mean that "In studying.." is wrong.

Thanks, Pat.
Will you give it an OK tag since I'm not eligible to do it?

Hi John.
I've tagged it OK and have thrown caution to the wind and adopted this poor orphan!

Excellent. "thrown caution to the wind" deserves to be included in the corpus.

#4418554 for starters.
