Eu não conhecia essa expressão "da hora", com o significado de "fantástico", "espetacular". É portuguesa?

Pelo menos aqui em São Paulo, é muito (demasiadamente, diria eu) utilizada entre os jovens. A forma mais comum de se ouvir é "Que da hora!". Não estou seguro quanto à ortografia.

Em latim, utilizamos uma expressão parecida, "magni momenti" (=de grande momento, de hora boa), que é geralmente traduzida como "importante" ou "notório". Coincidência interessante.

Já me confirmaram que também aqui em Sergipe os jovens usam demais essa expressão. Assim, contrariando a ideia de que a velhice traz sabedoria, no meu caso está me deixando é mais ignorante. :-)
