Eble "Li estis ermito sekvanta la postsignojn de Mezepoko en la dudeka jarcento."
Kaj tio povus kredigi, ke Mezepoko estas en la dudeka jarcento. Nova provo: "Li estis ermito, kiu en la dudeka jarcento sekvas la postsignojn de Mezepoko." ... se vi konsentas. (intertempe ni jam devas ŝanĝi: sekvas --> sekvis.
