Takk for flotte færøyske setninger! Det er fascinerende for meg som nordmann å sammenligne det med norsk. Jeg synes det ligner litt mer på moderne norsk, enn det ligner på moderne islandsk.

De fleste nordmenn vet ingenting om færøyene eller færøysk.

I'm glad to read it :)
I'm actually fascinated of Nordic culture and languages (that's why I'm learning Swedish), but Faroese is particularly interesting because of it's immutability since medieval. I don't know it very well yet, but I'm going to start learning soon, now I just read about it's grammar and conjugations - so I am able to make a short, simple sentences.

Einen Polen der Faröisch spricht, trifft man nicht jeden Tag. ☺
To jest dla mnie bardzo przyjemne. Alex z sąsiedniego kraju (Niemcy).
