This is an expample of sentences which I don't prefer to translate on Tatoeba. Sentences with ''have'' are sometimes hard to translate to Turkish because you translate ''I have a ... '' as ''There is a ...'' and that confuses non-natives.

The translation would be ''Komodinimin üstünde kız arkadaşımın resmi var.'' and my Turkish sentence also means ''There is a photo of my girlfriend on my nightstand.''

And your translation is ''I keep a photo of my girlfriend on my nightstand.'' but it's still OK to translate so.
