Tämä on vähän omituinen.

"joka ottaa sen paikan" -> "joka rakennetaan sen paikalle/tilalle", luulisin.

Lauseessa on myös hyvin epäselvää, mihin jälkimmäisin "se" viittaa.

"mutta se sopii" -> "mutta vanha rakennus sopii" voisi olla parempi.
