Amèner means to bring along while porter means simply to carry... the japanese sentence uses bring along and the english one uses carry. So I think he translated the english sentence.

The Japanese sentence uses 運ぶ, which has a distinct 'carry' nuance. (運べるだけ ~= all able to carry)

その箱は重くて運べません。 The box is too heavy to carry.

The link to "Bring as many boxes as you can carry" seems a bit weak. I would have expected "take".
