Ich wollte schon lange fragen: Was ist der Unterschied zwischen „geboren werden“ und „geboren sein“?

Ich sage meistens „geboren werden“. „geboren sein“ ist das Zustandspassiv: Ich wurde geboren und befinde mich jetzt in dem Zustand, geboren (worden) zu sein (= ich lebe, existiere). Wir freuen uns, daß du geboren bist (= daß du jetzt unter uns bist).
