
It's not quite the set expression if you insert the word "whole".
The word "future" implies the whole future, so I'd suggest using the standard "The future is just around the corner."

doesn't using just "future" give it some "short-term upcoming" meaning?
the phrase is about relativity of time perception. i want it to emphasize and cover the whole time.
i found some examples of "the whole future" before i posted the sentence.
