Who is Dan she? ☺

Oooops... Thanks for the comment.

This happens when you type faster than you think :-p Your mind still hesitates what to pick up, a "Dan", a "she", a "he", a "Linda", but your fingers have already chosen one :-)

Tommy,

Please ignore what the person named CK is telling you. I have the right to post sentences in English just like anybody else on this website.

Through such a scandalous message, this person is being disrespectful to me, I think.

No matter what anybody tells me, I make it a rule to use and translate only sentences written or proofread by native speakers.

So the better. But even if sentences containing the name "Dan" will be ignored by the person named CK, they'll be proofread by other native speakers, including personal friends from the UK and even the US, and they'll be OKayed by them on this website. It'll take some time, but it'll be done. The person named CK shouldn't think he has to do everything around here.

Bye.

Hi Amastan, you are right.

Generally, the qualifier that accompanies a negative in English is not "some", but "any". If you make that change, then you probably will either want to get rid of "even" as well, or make some other change. With that in mind, here are some possibilities:

Dan didn't wait to do that.
Dan didn't wait even a second to do that.

An alternative to "wait" in such a sentence would be "hesitate".

Thank you, Alan! It's native speakers like you that make people from the remostest corners of the world love to study English.
