¡Hola, alex! He ligado #1963890 a esa oración y quiero convencerme si tenía razón. Literalmente "половина дела" quiere decir la mitad del asunto o hecho. Puesto que el asunto puede ser cualquiera, lo considero como traducción posible. La cosa es que en ruso es una expresión común, pero no decimos "la mitad del todo" como en español. Por favor, dime que te parece.

¡Hola, odexed! La frase se le atribuye a Pitágoras. Creo que por eso decir "la mitad del todo" tiene un efecto mucho más profundo que decir "la mitad de la tarea", aunque el primero suene un poco raro al oído.
