Mit dem Wort "ebenfalls" ist die erste Interpretation wahrscheinlicher, die am klarsten so ausgedrückt werden könnte:
Auch ich bin deswegen hier.
(Das ist es, warum auch ich hier bin. Das ist es, warum ich auch hier bin.
Ich bin aus demselben Grund hier wie die anderen.)

Mit dem Wort "auch" wären beide Interpretationen möglich.
Ich bin AUCH deswegen hier (auch gehört zu ich)
Ich bin auch DESwegen hier (auch gehört zu deswegen - Ich bin auch aus anderen Gründen hier)
