"could arrive home" is grammatically correct but I think it sounds a little odd in this context (I can't read the Tagalog version).
I would suggest:
I went to bed before father arrived home.

As I was reading your comment I initially believed what I merely lacked is the particle "at" (arrive at home). But thinking again rather than using "arrive" (which is the literal meaning of "d(um)ating"), I am thinking of using "come (home)" instead which has broad uses.
