Ah ok.
It's pretty obscure. I didn't recognise it as real English, and the OED doesn't have this definition of yen, although m-w does.
Is there some kind of marking for uncommon sentences like this?

The "yen" part doesn't sound that obscure to me.
However, I personally would say "adventure" instead of "adventures."
