A mondat második fele nekem egy kicsit púpos. Sejtem, magyarul mit akartál írni, de én angolul kicsit másként javasolnám: you plant seedlings, tend to them and you will see them grow (esetleg flourish).

"you must plant seedlings, tend to them and watch their growth"

I would suggest see instead of watch. For me watch implies a shorter duration, like watching TV, etc., while "see them grow" would indicate a longer term. I might be wrong, though.

In my opinion "see" or "watch" can be used. My preference in this sentence would be "watch how they grow."
These two sayings using "watch" are common in English.

Thanks, pathgfisher, I would say the examples are in a bit different context, but I get your point.

For the sake of clarity I've added a hungarian sentence - unfortunately, that won't help you,
pathgfisher.
I would insist on "must"
and "watch" as well. You can watch the plants for a short time, also - you can sit down
beside them and watch how they live.
(The other parts I've changed as you suggested.)
Thanks for the contibution all of you.
